Have to vent somewhere since most everyone agrees facebook is off limits about it for now…
I had my 21-week ultrasound a week ago. 2 days ago I got a call to call my nurse back about the results. Yesterday morning I finally get a hold of her and am told that my baby is only measuring in the 2nd percentile for growth. This morning I get a call that my file has been faxed to the nearest big city (an hour away) and my appointment isn’t for another 3 weeks.
The waiting game is going to kill me. It’s possible there’s nothing wrong at all and he’s just a late bloomer, or there could be a reason he’s so small. There’s nothing worse than not knowing right now.
My thigh piece, none other than Velma herself. A year in the making, this was my final sitting. People have told me I resemble her for years, so getting this tattoo is my way of owning and embracing that. It’s also a tribute to intelligent and sexy women (because these things aren’t mutually exclusive.) :)
